Only social organization established in the favela Morro do Fuba, Northwest of Rio de Janeiro, Terr’Ativa fights against school failure among youths and facilitates their socio-professional integration.
A team of five Brazilian employees and one french volunteer support approximately sixty children and adolescents through homework help, educational and sporting activities focused on culture and citizenship, and medical and psychological monitoring.
Focus on one of our projects: Solida'Rio.
The project consists in building a sports ground in the school of the favela where live a large majority of Terr'Ativa's beneficiaries. The children of the association will be able to practice sports in optimal conditions.
This initiative is sponsored by the judoka Gévrise EMANE bronze medalist at the 2012 Olympics and double world champion.
