Terr’Ativa
Only social organization established in the favela Morro do Fuba, Northwest of Rio de Janeiro, Terr’Ativa fights against school failure among youths and facilitates their socio-professional integration.
A team of twenty employees and three volunteers support the schooling of 50 children and 40 teenagers through educational support and cultural and sports activities. Terr'Ativa also provides psychological and speech therapy for the beneficiaries. A psychosocial support project for the women of the community has also been launched in 2021




Focus on one of our projects : Solida'Rio.
The project consists in building a sports ground in the school of the favela where live a large majority of Terr'Ativa's beneficiaries. The children of the association will be able to practice sports in optimal conditions.
This initiative is sponsored by the judoka Gévrise EMANE bronze medalist at the 2012 Olympics and double world champion.
